Kua Theng Hong has worked in the FMCG-related industries for over 20 years. He started his career in AC Nielsen Retail Research in 1992 and later built his career in Gillette. In Gillette, he assumed many different positions such as Key Account Manager and Marketing Manager before taking up the post as the Country Manager in 2003. P&G acquired the Gillette Company in 2005. After assisting P&G in integrating the Gillette’s business, he joined L’Oreal Malaysia to launch the Garnier brand which became the top 4 brands in skincare in Malaysia. In the next 2 years, he headed the Sales Division and registered double digit growth each year before his promotion as the General Manager for Consumer Division (L’Oreal Paris, Maybelline and Garnier).

He has worked in different levels of seniority and understands the various needs and challenges faced by staff in different levels. With this knowledge, he is able to relate and connect with participants, making his message delivery extremely effective and pragmatic. His knowledge in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin together with different dialects enable him to connect with people interactively and consistently for best results.
Kua is also one of the sixteen NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) trainers in Malaysia that is qualified to issue certification courses under the American Board of NLP. With his training in the psychological aspect coupled with his years of experience in managing people, Kua is able to relate and connect with his clients effectively.
