Accept failure and value criticism
Any time you fail in something you need to remember that it happens to EVERYONE. Even Colonel Sanders was fired from dozens of jobs before he built KFC. The difference is that confident people don’t have time to wallow in failure. The more you accept failure and the less you take it personally, the stronger you’ll be in the long-run.

Say yes.
A part of being confident is faking it until you make it. This doesn’t mean you’re lying about your skills and experience. It doesn’t make you look arrogant and boastful. This means having enough belief in your abilities that you’re able to execute a new task. The more you believe you can do it, the more others believe in you too.

Relax. No one else knows what they’re doing, either.
Anyone would be insecure when we see our co-workers are doing better than we can. They speak up in meetings. They say yes to every challenge. They exude confidence.
