He believes that the company’s strategic objectives in the aspects of financial and profitability, customer satisfaction, internal process, and people learning and growth should be translated into meaningful understanding and practice at every level of workforce. In doing so, he leverages on:

  • Corporate organization such as Office of Strategy Management (OSM) and Project Management Office (PMO) organizations,
  • Management best practices such as PMBOK® Project Management Body of Knowledge and Balanced Scorecard strategy management.

He always enjoys warmth cooperation from his superiors and subordinates. Among his secret weapons are effective meeting and efficient follow-ups.

Since the past four years, he has been an avid practitioner of Balanced Scorecard and focusing most of his work and consulting activities in the area of strategy management. He is also backed with in-depth knowledge and practical experiences in Information Technology (from Systems Analysis to Implementation, from ICT strategic planning do ICT infrastructure deployment), project management (PMBOK), sales and marketing, Human Capital, internal communication, profit modeling, business development and leadership.

He had also went through many full cycle of sales processes, including: Initiated pre-sales activities; formulated solutions proposals, negotiated and closed deals, coordinated project education and implementation, met acceptance checklist, rendered maintenance service, monitored maintenance contract, facilitated billing and collection, and maintained customers’ satisfaction for repeated business.

He had presented conference papers on Project Management at NORDNET2004 (Organized by Network of Nordic Countries Project Management Associations), AIPM2004 (organized by Australian Institute of Project Management), and InCULT2004 (International Conference of University Learning and Teaching).

He currently runs his own pre-school education franchising business, and upon request, offering his management training and consulting services. Among his previous positions are Corporate Strategy Manager at Alhamrani United Co. (Nissan Saudi Arabia), General Manager Information Technology Division of a national telecommunication company, Dean of Information Technology Faculty at a Malaysian University, and President of an ERP software company.

Haji Roslan holds Masters of Science (Computer Science) from Central Michigan University (1988) and Bachelors of Science (Computer Science) from Western Michigan University (1986).
